How TradeByBar keeps your strategies running while you sleep
6/5/2026
Your strategy doesn't take the night off, and neither does our engine. Here's what "always on" actually means.
Most trading tools run inside your browser tab. Close the tab, lose your connection, or let your laptop sleep, and your automation goes dark at exactly the wrong moment.
TradeByBar works differently. Your strategies run on a dedicated trading engine, a separate always on process that lives on our infrastructure, not your machine. You can close the dashboard, shut your laptop, and walk away. The engine keeps watching the market and acting on your rules.
That separation matters most during fast moves. A missed reconnect during a breakout is the difference between a clean fill and a chase. By keeping the engine independent from your browser session, we remove your home internet, your battery, and your sleep schedule from the equation.
The dashboard you log into is just a window. It shows you what the engine is doing: open positions, recent fills, and live PnL. When you close it, nothing stops. When you reopen it, you see the current truth, not a stale snapshot.
This is the foundation everything else is built on. Copy trading, risk limits, and scheduled sessions all assume the engine is there, awake, and consistent. It is.
Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Always on does not mean always profitable.
